The all new Aztec family boasts a wide range of outputs and choice between asymmetric and symmetric distributions, making it ideal for installation small and large; from domestic applications to large settings such as tennis courts or car parks.
The Aztec floodlight has been designed specifically for both indoor and outdoor installations. The high ingress protection (IP66) gives the floodlight complete protection in any environment. The Aztec can be installed into outdoor areas such as carparks and builders’ yards and robust enough to withstand harsh weather conditions.
With an impact rating of IK08, this tempered glass of the Aztec provides protection against external impacts and vandalism.
The black powder coated die-cast aluminium housing provides a discreet aesthetic finish to the floodlight, designed to weather the elements. The aluminium body provides a strong and durable housing as well as assisting with heat dissipation; extending the life of the LEDs and driver.
The Aztec serves an impressive Lm/W efficiency. Ranging from 140 Lm/W to 147 Lm/W; the great energy efficiency provides lower running costs. The LEDs lifespan of L80 B10 54,000 hours ensures minimal lumen depreciation over the lifetime of the luminaire. It also comes with a warranty of 5 years.
Depending on your requirements, asymmetrical and symmetrical floodlights have different benefits depending on their application. Symmetrical floodlights distribute light evening in all directions, compared with asymmetrical where light is directed in front of the fixture where illuminance is required. Symmetrical is suitable for lighting open spaces and is ideal for construction sites, outdoor storage and warehouse yards for example.
Asymmetrical floodlights have integrated advanced optics that allow the light beam to be directed and is ideal for installation into built-up areas such as sports grounds, open car parks and tennis courts where light pollution for neighbouring properties is a consideration. They provide up to 50% better output utilisation and up to 50% reduction in light pollution.
